WHAT WILL HAPPEN If TPS IS NOT REDESIGNATED OR EXTENDED?

Cameroon Advocacy Network is organizing an important Know Your Rights (KYR) session on March 1st, 2025, at 12 Noon ET, to address the recent changes and concerns surrounding the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for some countries.
Cameroon’s TPS is set to expire on June 7, 2025. The administration would need to make a decision regarding a potential extension at least 60 days before this date, meaning they would need to announce their decision by early April 2025. If TPS for Cameroon is terminated, it could leave about 15 thousands individuals vulnerable to deportation and the dangers they fled from.
This session will provide crucial information on the current status of TPS, what steps individuals should take to protect themselves, and the rights they should be aware of.
